Francesca graduated from Kingston University in 1984 and set up a furniture design partnership with a fellow graduate. She has worked for a number of interior design practises, including Fox Linton Associates and GA Design which led to a move to the world renowned American architects, Skidmore Owings Merrill.

In 2005 Francesca returned to education at the Bartlett School and completed a Masters in Project Management.

Paul graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1983 and spent formative years at 3 high profile London studios: the Conran, IDEO and Fitch studios before setting up on his own in 1989. This work became DrumDesign in 1994, with a focus on furniture and lighting and more recently interiors.

Paul is also senior lecturer and a programme leader in Product Design at Central Saint Martins in London.
